Scott MacIvor, PhD Student, Biology Department, York University

Scott MacIvor is an urban ecologist interested in plant-pollinator interactions and biodiversity-ecosystem function relationships. Scott is finishing his PhD in Biology at York University, and is an instructor and founding member of GRIT lab in the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto (UT). He recently joined UT Scarborough in Biological Sciences as a post-doctoral researcher to continue investigating the role and relevancy of biodiversity in urban planning and design, especially green infrastructure.
