David Burnett

David is a Registered Professional Planner and a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. He has a total of 25 years of environmental planning experience at the Region of Peel and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority related to the Oak Ridges Moraine, aggregate resources, waste management, watershed planning and sourcewater protection. David is currently a 13-year employee at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) as the Manager of Provincial & Regional Policy, including the role of planning lead for the CTC Source Protection Region and Coordinator of the Conservation Authorities Moraine Coalition.He was also a planner for 12 years at the Region of Peel, where he was Peel’s lead planner in both the tri-Region (York, Peel and Durham) Oak Ridges Moraine planning study and the Caledon Community Resources Aggregate Study.
