Catherine Seguin is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Toronto Mississauga. In addition to teaching accounting courses, she initiated, organized and continues to run an internship course for fourth-year commerce and business students to gain practical business experience to complement their field of studies. Catherine has written the books Accounting for Not-for-Profit Organizations for Carswell and Not-for-Profit Accounting, published by CGA Canada. She has also co-authored a practice book on management accounting and wrote a test bank for a financial accounting book for McGraw-Hill. In the business community, she has participated in the consultation of the reform of the Canada Corporations Act for not-for-profits organizations. In the past, she has served on several boards of not-for-profit organizations and has been a professional development speaker for CGA Ontario on the topic of not-for-profit accounting.
