Carolynne Crawley has been working for FoodShare for the past five years as the Field to Table Schools Educator and now as a Field to Table Schools Coordinator. Carolynne has more than 25 years experience working with and supporting children and youth in hospitals, crisis centres, group homes and schools. During her long career, Carolynne recognized a connection between children's diet and their behaviour and emotions. This inspired her to return to school to study holistic nutrition. Since then, Carolynne has been involved in developing two elementary school food gardens and curriculum-linked workshops for teachers. Carolynne is passionate about reconnecting people with the land one plant at a time and about sharing her knowledge of traditional skills, such as wild edible and medicinal plants.
